FindMyPast have unveiled their latest new record set - Military Nurses who have been awarded the Royal Red Cross. The records span 1883-1994 and include almost 9,000 entries.
As usual (for a Tuesday), here are some forthcoming events:
- Saturday 26th May - Shropshire FHS Open Day & Fair, Shrewsbury;
- Saturday 26th May - WEA Scotland Fife Heritage Day, Glenrothes;
- Friday 25th & Saturday 26th May - London Summer International Book Fair;
- Postcard Fairs at Woking (25th & 26th), Bloomsbury (27th), and Stockport (29th) - see here (please check with organisers before travelling);
- Saturday 9th June - Devon FHS's 'Summer Special' get-together (need to book by 28th May);
